Terms of Sale
The terms that govern purchases, downloads, delivery, access, and digital content bought through TunePort.
Clear terms for digital music purchases
These Terms of Sale explain how purchases made through TunePort work, what customers receive after checkout, how digital delivery is handled, and what happens if a file is faulty or cannot be accessed properly.
TunePort is a digital music marketplace for downloadable releases. By purchasing music or related digital content through the platform, you agree to these terms in addition to any wider platform policies, licensing guidance, and legal notices shown elsewhere on the site.
At a glance
Purchases on TunePort are for digital content and download access, not physical goods.
Eligible purchases are made available through your downloads area after payment is completed.
Standard purchases are licensed for personal use unless a release clearly states otherwise.
1. What you are buying
When you place an order through TunePort, you are purchasing access to digital content associated with the release you selected. This may include audio files, artwork where available, and a private use licence or related release materials supplied as part of the downloadable package.
The exact contents of a release may vary depending on what the creator has provided and how the release has been prepared for delivery. Unless otherwise stated, purchases do not include physical products, commercial rights, ownership transfer, or permission to redistribute the files.
What a purchase may include
- - One or more downloadable audio files
- - Release artwork or cover image where available
- - A bundled ZIP package for easier delivery
- - A private use licence or accompanying release file
What a purchase does not include
- - Physical CDs, vinyl, or printed goods
- - Commercial exploitation rights
- - Permission to redistribute or resell files
- - Copyright ownership in the music or artwork
2. Payment and order completion
Orders are considered complete once payment has been successfully authorised and confirmed through the platform’s checkout process. If payment is not completed, cancelled, reversed, or fails for any reason, the order will not create valid download access.
Prices shown on release pages are the prices payable at the time of purchase unless clearly stated otherwise. TunePort reserves the right to update pricing, offers, or release availability at any time before checkout is completed.
3. Delivery of downloads
Once an eligible order has been successfully completed, your purchased release should become available through your TunePort account downloads area. Delivery is digital and does not rely on physical shipping.
Download packages may be supplied as ZIP files so that the release can include all relevant content together, such as audio files, artwork, and licence information. You are responsible for ensuring you have suitable software and device access to open and store downloaded files.
It is your responsibility to provide and maintain access to a valid account and to keep your login details secure. TunePort is not responsible for lost access caused by incorrect credentials, unauthorised sharing of accounts, or failure to keep your own systems secure.
Customer responsibilities
- - Use a valid account and correct payment details
- - Keep your login details secure
- - Download and store your files responsibly
- - Ensure your device can access ZIP and audio formats
Important note
Delivery of digital content may depend on your own internet connection, browser behaviour, device storage, software compatibility, and account access. These factors are outside the platform’s direct control.
4. Licensing and permitted use
Unless a release explicitly states otherwise, purchases made through TunePort are supplied on a private use basis only. This means the buyer may download, store, and enjoy the release for personal listening, but may not redistribute, re-upload, resell, publicly share, or commercially exploit the files.
All copyright and related rights remain with the creator or rights holder unless clearly stated otherwise in writing. Purchasing a digital release does not transfer copyright ownership.
For more detail, please also refer to the platform’s Licensing Guide.
5. Faulty files and download issues
If a file is genuinely faulty, corrupted, materially incomplete, or cannot be accessed as described, please contact TunePort as soon as reasonably possible with enough detail for the issue to be investigated.
Where a verified fault exists, TunePort may, depending on the circumstances, provide replacement access, corrected files, another suitable remedy, or support in resolving the problem. The appropriate response will depend on the nature of the fault and whether the issue is caused by the supplied digital content itself.
TunePort is not responsible for issues caused solely by unsupported software, local device problems, storage limitations, user-side configuration issues, or failure to use suitable applications to open the files.
6. Refunds and cancellations
Because TunePort supplies digital content, refunds are not generally offered simply because you changed your mind after purchase, especially where access to the digital content has already been granted.
However, if the digital content is proven to be faulty, inaccessible in a way that is not caused by your own device or setup, or materially different from what was described, please get in touch so the matter can be reviewed properly and a fair solution considered.
Requests relating to genuine digital content faults should be made promptly and should include enough information to identify the order, release, and issue experienced.
7. Availability and changes
TunePort may update release pages, platform features, delivery methods, and support processes over time in order to improve the service, maintain security, or address technical issues. These changes will not remove rights that have already been properly granted under a completed purchase, but platform access methods and presentation may evolve.
TunePort also reserves the right to suspend or remove releases where required for legal, technical, rights, or policy reasons. Where this affects an already completed purchase, reasonable steps will be taken to assess the situation fairly.
Questions about a purchase?
If you have a question about delivery, access, licensing, or a possible file issue, get in touch and include the relevant order details so the matter can be reviewed properly.
