AI Content Policy
The standards and rules for AI-assisted or AI-generated music and related content offered through TunePort.
Clear rules for AI-assisted and AI-generated content
TunePort may allow AI-assisted and AI-generated music or related content, but only where it is handled responsibly, described honestly, and offered in a way that does not create deception, infringement, or avoidable legal risk.
This policy explains what creators are expected to disclose, what kinds of content are prohibited, and the rights TunePort reserves to review, restrict, or remove risky material.
At a glance
Creators must accurately disclose AI-assisted or AI-generated involvement where relevant.
Content that imitates protected voices, artists, or identities without rights or permission is not acceptable.
The platform may review, reject, suspend, or remove content that creates policy or legal risk.
1. AI disclosure responsibility
Creators are solely responsible for accurately disclosing whether any music or related content is AI-generated or AI-assisted. TunePort and the website owner are not responsible for incorrect, incomplete, or misleading creator disclosures.
Any creator using AI in the creation, arrangement, generation, vocal production, artwork creation, or supporting release materials should describe that involvement honestly and in a way that does not mislead buyers.
Acceptable AI-related content
- - Responsibly disclosed AI-assisted production
- - Original AI-generated content presented honestly
- - Music and artwork that does not mislead buyers about authorship or source
- - Content used within legal and rights-safe boundaries
Prohibited or high-risk content
- - Misleading impersonation of real artists or identities
- - Cloned or simulated voices used without rights or permission
- - Content that falsely suggests official affiliation or endorsement
- - Infringing, deceptive, or rights-unsafe training or source material
2. Originality and rights
Creators must only upload and sell AI-related content where they have the legal right or authority to do so. This includes making sure that the music, vocals, artwork, prompts, source materials, and any other relevant components do not infringe copyright, publicity rights, performer rights, or any other protected interests.
It is not enough for content to be technically generated by a tool. Creators remain responsible for the legality and publishability of what they submit.
3. Misleading presentation is not allowed
Creators must not present AI content in a way that misleads buyers into believing that a release was created, performed, voiced, or endorsed by a real artist, band, producer, or rights holder when that is not true.
This includes misleading artist names, misleading artwork, false credits, deceptive promotional text, or descriptions that obscure the true nature of the release.
Disclosure
Buyers should be given honest, plain information where AI has materially contributed to the release or related content.
Risk review
TunePort may review AI-related content more closely where it creates legal, reputational, or policy concerns.
Platform protection
The platform may act quickly where content appears deceptive, infringing, or unsafe to continue offering.
4. Platform rights regarding AI content
TunePort reserves the right to review, restrict, reject, remove, suspend, or otherwise act on AI-assisted or AI-generated content where it appears to breach this policy, create legal uncertainty, mislead buyers, or expose the platform to unacceptable risk.
TunePort may also request clarification, updated disclosures, edits, or additional information from creators where necessary before allowing content to remain available.
5. Relationship to other terms
This AI Content Policy sits alongside the Platform Terms, Terms of Sale, and Licensing Guide. Creators and users should read those documents together.
AI content can be allowed - but only responsibly
TunePort is not anti-AI. It is anti-deception, anti-infringement, and anti-risky misuse. The expectation is simple: disclose honestly, use rights-safe material, and do not mislead buyers or imitate protected identities.
